Chef Mack is a caterer and private chef serving Metro Detroit. Mack started cooking professionally at age 14 at Forest Grill in Birmingham. After graduating from Cornell University’s Hospitality program, Mack cooked in restaurants and hotels in California, Hawaii, Chicago, Nantucket, Colorado and Dubai. Most notably, Mack worked with an up and coming Hospitality group based in California as the Corporate Chef and Director of Food and Beverage. Since returning to Detroit, Mack worked as a Culinary Operations Manager at Heirloom Hospitality (Prime and Proper, Townhouse, Mad Nice) and a was a Chef de Cuisine on the opening team of the Godfrey Hotel.

Mack’s experience cooking private dinner parties and events while living in California inspired him to build his catering business in his hometown. Mack focuses on building relationships with clients and creating custom menus that are suited to their tastes as well as the style of their events.
